to the Rays SBMN (Eileen Finke) and Rockies SBMJ (Tim Murcott) for winning BCLL inter-league 2009 Championships

to both Mets teams at the BBMN (Mike Dellaquila) and BBMJ (Pat Wright) level for winning BCLL 2009 Championships

Special kudos to both Bayville softball teams as they participated in a league encompassing 4 different organizations


Big hand to Junior League team #1 for taking first place in our successful second year of Junior League play. Our  3 teams competed against each other and  Glen Cove junior teams during the spring on Sundays.

Home Run

What a great community we live in, BCLL 2nd Annual Closing Day was a Big Hit because of all who attended. Your smiles and community Spirit made for a great event.  

First and foremost we want to thank all the BCLL Board Members for always making BCLL all about the children, and for giving us the opportunity to be part of a spectacular event such as this.

Thank you for all your help with things such as ideas, setting up, breaking down and just keeping the day running.  This event would not have been such a success without all of you.

Now for all the volunteers who came to Tattoo children, Scoop Italian Ices, Sell Raffles or just help out with whatever needed to be done.  You should be proud of yourselves; you all continuously worked hard and with a smile. We thank you!

As for our vendor Gooseberry Grove, What a nice job on the food; everything was delicious with an attractive presentation. As you know the kids love the blowups. Also we want to thank you for being a great supporter of our community.
